SKI & SNOWBOARD and TRANSPORTATION YOUTH PROGRAM
Saturdays in March
The Winter Ride program has a long history at Mt. Baker, impacting countless community members, parents, and Baker staff. We are deeply committed to continuing to invite and host youth at the mountain through the Winter Ride ski, snowboard, and transportation program! Winter Ride serves youth in grades 6-12 for four weeks in March, with lessons required for all new participants.
Program Information
Program Dates: Winter Ride Saturdays will run for 4 weeks in March 2026 – Saturday March 7, 14, 21, and 28
Lessons: (Required for New Participants) Lessons are from 9 AM- 11 AM each Saturday of the program.
Onward Pass: (Optional) This pass allows straight-to-chairlift access to the ski area any day of operation from March 7 through the end of the 2025-26 season. If Onward Pass is not purchased, daily lift tickets or 2025-26 Mt. Baker Season Pass required to access the lifts.
Rentals: (Optional) Winter Ride equipment rentals are for all-day and include either skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boots. Winter Ride equipment rentals include a helmet. Rentals will be valid every day of operation March 7 through end of 2025-26 for Winter Ride participants.
Pricing
All participants must have either a season pass or daily lift ticket.

All Winter Ride registration takes place through local area transportation coordinators. Check the contact list for local area transportation coordinators who will supply eligible participants with links for purchasing lessons, rentals and/or Onward Pass.
