Getting Here

Mt. Baker Ski Area is located 56 miles east from the town of Bellingham, at the end of Hwy 542. The sections below can help you prepare for your drive to the mountains. We hope you have a safe and awesome trip!

HIGHWAY 542 UPDATE:


Hwy 542 will be open daily with one-lane traffic through the construction zone between approximately mileposts 41 and 44.

We would like to thank all our partners at WSDOT and their contractor, Granite Construction. Without them, this opening would not be possible!

Please show your gratitude and help keep the highway open by watching your speed through construction zones and respecting ALL signage and directives.
