Media Contributor Guide
We welcome collaboration with both visiting media representatives and seasonal media contributors. This guide details the expected best practices for all media contributions. Please be aware that the specifics of each visit or seasonal contribution differ, meaning not all information will be relevant to every individual or situation.
If you are a member of the media interested in contributing in exchange for lift tickets, please review these guidelines completely and submit the application provided at the conclusion of this guide.
CONTENT
Visiting Mt. Baker Ski Area during any season is a worthwhile endeavor. If you are here to provide us with content in exchange for access we want to make sure we showcase the best of you, the way your images or videos were intended to be experienced. To achieve this consider the following guidelines:
DELIVERY
We prioritize and appreciate timely media delivery to ensure we reflect the most current conditions. While promptness is important, please submit the highest quality content. Be sure to use appropriate file sizes, aspect ratios and types for your submission. Your submission should be ready for immediate use on social media platforms, as we will not be editing the content.
Visiting Media: Visiting Media should make their content contribution within a week of their visit.
Seasonal Media: Seasonal Media should make their content contributions on a regular basis throughout the season. While we don’t have a strict schedule, we’re looking to our contributors to help showcase current conditions therefore consistency is greatly appreciated. If you are shooting a contest or an event we would like to receive the media within a week of shooting.
