Using the Features

USING THE FEATURES

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY TO:

SCOUT
BEFORE dropping in, scout the zone by observing the features and terrain.

START • Call your drop.
• Enter the Zone from the designated entrance(s) only, and one-at-a-time.

SPACING
• A variety of abilities use these features. Observe the skier/rider in front of you: notice their speed, ability, and stability as they use the features.
• Leave enough spacing between you and the person in front of you to avoid collision.

RIDING THE FEATURES
• Ride features in control and at your ability level.
• Start small and work your way up to linking more features and terrain in succession.
• Abide by Your Responsibility Code.
• Be aware; feature use may damage your equipment.
• DO NOT access any areas of Feature Zones that are closed, marked off and/or excluded from use.

TAKE IT EASY. Know your ability and limits. Land on your feet.

Ride-On Features
Approach ride-on feature with appropriate speed and trajectory  to ride on the feature to exit successfully to the landing zone.
Ride-on features are for ride-on use only and are NOT intended as jumps.

Bonk Features
• Approach bonk feature with appropriate speed and trajectory to  TAP or STALL on the bonk feature to exit successfully to the landing zone.
• Bonk features are for tapping or stalling only and are NOT intended as jumps.

Banks & Rollers Features
• Banks & Rollers features are for riding in the path only and are NOT intended as jumps.
• If the skier/rider in front of you falls or slows unexpectedly:
- Adjust your speed and spacing to avoid collision.
- If you decide to pass the stopped rider, alert them to the upcoming pass and allow enough space to avoid collision.

WARNING


Improper use and/or not using features as intended increases your risk of serious injury and/or death and may result in disciplinary action including, but not limited to, loss of Feature Zone(s) use, revocation of lift ticket or season pass, and/or tresspass from the Ski Area.
