Media in the Mountains

Mt. Baker Ski Area collaborates with a variety of local and visiting filmmakers and photographers to produce stunning visuals showcasing the natural beauty and extreme weather conditions found in this corner of the North Cascades.

If capturing media within the Ski Area aligns with your professional pursuits, and a trip to Mt. Baker is on your bucket list, see the below options for a potential collaboration.

VISITING MEDIA

For short term visits not exceeding 3 days individuals may submit a media ticket request if they meet the criteria below. If your project requires a stay longer than 3 days contact media@mtbaker.us

Requirements for consideration:

Request is made at least one week in advance of arrival.

Requesting person must be a professional filmmaker or photographer. **We do not provide tickets to athletes alone without a filmer or photographer.**

Be able to submit edited film or photos captured during the trip for use by Mt. Baker Ski Area. Submission must be made within 5 days of visit .

Have verifiable permission from any subjects captured on film or in photography to use their image/likeness.

Adhere to all Mountain Policies while visiting Mt. Baker Ski Area.

SEASONAL MEDIA

Each season Mt Baker Ski Area works with a small number of select local media professionals to share stunning visuals of Mt Baker and its vibrant community.

We have reached our limit for seasonal media for 2025-26 winter. If you are a local media professional interested in being involved in our seasonal media contributor program for the 2026-27 season contact us before September 1st, 2026.

PUBLICATIONS

If you are a representative of a publication or are working with a reputable media outlet and looking to feature Mt. Baker Ski Area, contact us in advance at media@mtbaker.us.
