TIMBRRR! Best Trick Contest

Saturday Jan. 3, 2026
A best trick contest is always a fun way to kick off the season in The Sticks, Mt. Baker Ski Area’s freeride feature zone located off of C-¾. This event will feature an exclusive wooden rail setup for contestants separate from the zone’s public line.

Beacon Rally

Saturday Jan. 10, 2026
The Beacon Rally is a jumping off point where you can be exposed to basic avalanche awareness, practice using your avalanche transceiver and hone your group rescue skills in a fun environment.
This FREE event is for new and experienced backcountry users.

36th LEGENDARY BANKED SLALOM

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Feb. 6-7-8, 2026
This snowboard race holds a special place for locals and legends alike and offers the simplest form of competition, pitting each rider against the clock on the same world-famous banks. Visit our LBS website for entry info, history, results & more:

Valentines Day

Saturday Feb. 14th, 2026
Join us on the mountain for some Valentines fun! Stop by the “Valentent” at the top of Chair 7 for some sweet hot cocoa, custom Mt. Baker Valentines and photos in our custom big red heart with Mount Shuksan in the background (visibility dependent on weather, of course).

BRANCH OUT SESSION

FEMALES & FRIENDS MEET UP
The Branch Out Session is a gathering of female & friends freestylers in The Sticks, Mt. Baker Ski Area’s Freestyle Feature Zone located off of C-¾. There participants will enjoy an afternoon of freestyle riding and skiing together.

Golden Egg Hunt

Join us on the slopes for Golden Egg Hunt! For all ages in the Main Hunt, we've got two Mt. Baker Season Passes up for grabs, and for Kids ages 10 & Under, we have two separate hunts with 5,000 eggs filled with fun prizes!

Last Stand Rail Jam

The Last Stand Rail Jam is a great way to end your season with style! Held in Mt. Baker's Feature Zone off C-3/4, this freestyle competition welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced. With its progressive format and supportive atmosphere, it's the perfect event for everyone.

Raven's Edge Dual Slalom

Baker on the Brain Trivia night is back! Get your team together for our pre season Baker themed trivia night at Gruff Brewing.

Gear Swap by KKSC

Date: Thur-Fri-Sat October 16-17-18, 2025
Location: Bloedel Donovan Park in Bellingham

Sell or buy used ski and snowboard equipment at Bellingham's oldest and largest gear swap. Help raise money to support the KKSC scholarship fund which helps youth access the wonder of winter in the mountain environment.
