Working at Baker

THINGS TO CONSIDER & PLAN FOR

#1 WINTER WORK SCHEDULING CONSIDERATIONS
Mt. Baker Ski Area hires seasonal part time and seasonal full time positions every fall for the upcoming season. Most of our positions require scheduling availability that includes weekends and winter holidays. Please be realistic with yourself… and us… about your availability and willingness to be here weekends, winter holidays, and early mornings, even when the weather is stormin’. Working this schedule is a part of the unique winter work experience, and we know it may not be for everyone.

#2: CHOOSING A JOB
Start with where you generally enjoy being; do you prefer to work inside or outside? Is there something you have experience doing and would like to continue with, or something you are interested in learning? Check out our current openings on the 2024-2025 Jobs page to see what is available. You are welcome to apply for multiple positions at the same time, or fill out our General Application and our human relations manager will be in touch about what opportunities might be the best fit for you!

#3: EXPERIENCE
No job experience? No problem!

No ski or snowboard experience? Check out our Beginners Welcome page for information on learning opportunities just for employees!

There are also many jobs around the ski area that do not require you to ski or snowboard…or even know how to do so.
