Application Process
By checking out jobs at Baker, we already know you may be interested in becoming a part of our unique place at the end of 542. We are proud to be one of the few remaining originally independently owned and operated ski areas left in the United States, and we are looking for people who are also committed to helping continue the Baker legacy of personal connection between people, the natural world, and the shared experience of life in the mountains at Baker.
WINTER APPLICATION PROCESS TIMELINE
PRE-SEASON

| 1-2 weeks after submitting application | RESPONSE | Once you have applied, and if you meet the minimum qualifications for the job you have applied for, expect to hear back from our rockstar department supervisors or managers within 1-2 weeks. |
| September - October | INTERVIEW | Interviews typically start in early September. Interviews may occur in person, virtually, or by phone. |
| September - October | OFFERED POSITION ACCEPTANCE | If you are offered a position and you accept it, you will receive hiring paperwork and onboarding documents electronically to complete before training begins. |
| Oct. 28-29 | INSTRUCTOR TRAINING | Beginning of training for hired Instructors |
| Nov. 4 - 5 | TRAINING | All other departments (not Instruction) begin training with a mountain wide training weekend the first weekend of November |

| 7 days/week | Season schedule | During the season, MBSA is open 7 days a week (conditions permitting), from 9am-3pm. Job schedules typically start very early in the morning (4am-8am) and typically end in the afternoon before 5pm for most jobs. |
