Get Stoked

Working at Mt. Baker Ski Area allows you to be a part of the Baker mountain community in a unique way. Our goal is to allow all employees to find new and ongoing ways of connecting to the mountain environment, each other, the community, and themselves through benefits designed with you in mind.

MT. BAKER ACCESS

Mt. Baker Employee ID allows you lift access and employee discounts on food, retail and rental items (see below)
subject to acceptance of terms and conditions, and maintaining good standing with company

LIFT TICKET DISCOUNT FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY

Approved employees receive a select amount of discounted lift tickets to share with friends and family ... bring them up to shred with you!

LIFT TICKET EXCHANGE WITH OTHER AREAS

The mountain community extends beyond Mt. Baker! As an employee, you have the opportunity to connect and shred other PNSAA Ski Areas around the Pacific Northwest for free and/or discounted prices!

GEAR & SWAG DISCOUNTS

Do you need to:
• Get equipped with head-to-toe gear?
• Replace a well worn helmet?
• Start a swag collection to rep your home mountain with custom Baker merch?
• Build your Baker swag wardrobe with this season's custom designs?

Working at Baker comes with access to retail discounts just for you!

Pro Forms: These are discounts available to buy items directly from the manufacturers. Approved Mt. Baker employees have access to a variety of brands that sell hard goods (skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, etc.) and soft goods (goggles, outerwear, hats, etc.). The availability and amount of discount varies by brand and employee position.

Mountain Shop discounts: Approved employees can receive discounted pricing in our Mountain Shops where we sell outerwear, helmets, goggles, gloves, base layers, backpacks, socks and more.

EMPLOYEE SHUTTLE

Mt. Baker provides free daily shuttle service to and from work for people who are scheduled to work that day. These shuttles start in Bellingham at designated locations, and have stops in Deming, Kendall, Maple Falls, and Glacier. This is a great way to save on transportation costs and relax (or sleep!) on the way to work, and meet your co-workers and employees in other departments!

Check our Housing & Transportation page for more details.

FOOD & BEVERAGE FOR YOU

It's important to fuel up well when you're working in the mountains; we've got you covered with free breakfast & sack lunch on the days you work!

Approved employees also can receive a discount on select food and beverages in the day lodges.

MOUNTAIN EDUCATION CENTER CLASSES

There are many ways to learn about and engage with the mountain environment, and mountain education center (MEC) classes are a great place to start. The MEC offers a variety of classes, including discounted employee-only options coordinated around work schedules.
