26th Annual Mt. Baker Film Fest

Lights, Camera, Deep Powder Action!

Something magical happens at the start of the winter season when we gather to watch the snow fly on the big screen. Join us at the historic Mount Baker Theatre for this classic preseason event that sets your dreams in motion.

Enjoy refreshments, take a stroll through the Snow Community Showcase and grab your seats for some of the best ski and snowboard films from previous seasons. Reunite with your mountain friends and family and maybe meet some new ones at one of two showings.
This venue is open to all ages.

Tickets Required:

• $8 in advance, pre-sale starts October 10th online and in-person at the Mount Baker Theatre.

• $10 day-of, Tickets for ages 2 and under are free while supplies last!

• Complimentary, 2024-25 Mt Baker Passholder

• Complimentary, 2025-26 Mt Baker Passholder tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis while supplies last. 1 complimentary ticket good for one of the two shows can be picked up beginning on October 23 (day of the show) at 12:00 pm at the Mount Baker Theatre Kiosk (located directly in front of the Mount Baker Theatre doors). Supplies ARE limited, passholders must present their current Mt. Baker Season Pass to receive a complimentary ticket. To guarantee a seat prior to the handout, you may purchase in advance online or in-person at the Mount Baker Theatre starting October 10.

At each showing of the Mt. Baker Film Fest, the audience selects the winner of the People’s Choice Award via the loudest applause. Please save all of your hoots and hollers until the end when you will be asked to cheer and clap loudly for your favorite film.

Film Submissions for the 26th MBFF are due October 1, 2025

The Mt. Baker Film Fest seeks to highlight local and independent filmmakers whose films have a link to the Mt. Baker community. The determination of which films will be shown on the big screen is made by Mt. Baker Ski Area. To make your submission(s) stand out during the selection process, we encourage filmmakers to focus on the following elements: compelling storytelling, connection to the local area, fluidity in action and of course as much powder skiing or riding as possible.
