Artist Point
All Mt. Baker Ski Area operations and facilities are closed for the summer. However, the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest surrounding the ski area is considered to be one of the most beautiful alpine areas in North America. Many visitors to the area come to Artist Point, which is at the very end of the Mt. Baker Highway and features stunning views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan, as well as access to a variety of trails. The Highway is maintained by the Washington State Department of Transportation; please read below for information.
