Mt Baker Film Fest Recap

Thanks to all of you who came out to the 25th Annual Mt Baker Film Fest! It was a great evening celebrating the stoke of snow, mountains, this great community of friends and family, and the excitement of the coming season.

We also celebrated the career and retirement of Duncan Howat, who spent 56 years as General Manager of Mt. Baker. His leadership grew Mt. Baker from 2 chairlifts and 1 base area to the world-renowned, fiercely independent place it is today. If you see him on the mountain this winter, feel free to say hello and give him a big old thank you!

And last but not least, congratulations to our People’s Choice Award Winner “Soul Turn”, by William Scott! And thank you to everyone who voted (we took some extra time to comb through the votes and make sure we only counted legitimate votes).
