Canadian Season Pass Info

Hello Neighbors to the North!

As most of you may be aware, the border between Canada and the U.S. is closed for non-essential travel.  Unfortunately, travel for tourism, recreation or entertainment is still prohibited, including travel to Mt. Baker for skiing and snowboarding.

With the unknown timeline and the closure extensions of the border, we ask that returning or prospective Canadian season passholders wait to purchase their 2020-21 Mt. Baker season pass until the Canadian government lifts the non-essential travel restrictions and opens the border to internationational travel.

As a benefit to our Canadian season passholders, both returning and new, we would like to offer the following extensions of early-season pass rates:

For Returning 2019-20 Canadian Season Passholders:
For the two weeks immediately following the day the Canadian Goverment announces the border reopening date, we will extend the Droppin' In 2020-21 season pass rates to returning 2019-20 Mt. Baker Canadian season passholders.

We will reserve a portion of the allotted season pass capacity to accommodate 2020-21 season pass sales to returning 2019-20 Canadian season passholders.

Check back when the Canadian government has announced that the border will reopen for recreation travel for purchasing instructions.

For New Canadian Season Passholders:
If the Canadian government announces the border reopening date between Oct. 1 and Nov. 2 and we are continuing to sell season passes (see capacity note in "Pre-Season Passes" section, you may purchase your pass at that time.  If the announcement is made after Nov. 2 and we are continuing to sell season passes (see capacity not in Pre-Season and Regular Passes sections) we will extend the Pre-season rate for all new 2020-21 Canadian passholders for the weeks immediately following the day the Canadian government announces that the border will reopen for recreational travel.

Check back when the Canadian government has announced that the border will reopen for recreation travel for purchasing instructions.

Canadian Season Pass Purchase Policies

If you choose to purchase your season pass before the US/Canadian border opens for recreational travel and/or before the early-season pass rate extension dates noted above, full or partial refunds and or credits will not be issued if the border does not open or has delayed opening during all/partial 2020-21 operating season.

At no time after payment is received is a season pass refundable, transferable and/or exhangeable, except as outlined in our Mt. Baker Season Pass COVID closure credit assurance 2020-21 chart posted here.
