Komo Kids Program
For generations, the Komo Kids Program has helped kids and youth at Mt. Baker develop the skills to become life-long skiers and snowboarders. The program is for ages 7-15 and for intermediate and advanced skill levels. Trained instructors help ensure new skill development on the mountain in a fun atmosphere. Groups are divided by age and ability. The sessions are active, instructive, and social, focusing on safety, fun, and learning.
Baker Beginnings is a four week program in March for first time and beginner level skiers and snowboarders ages 7-12. Trained instructors help build a solid foundation in skiing and riding skills while introducing kids and youth to the mountain environment. Groups are divided by age and ability. The sessions are active, instructive, and social, focusing on safety, fun, and learning.
Racer Development Program
If you’re age 8-18 and a beyond intermediate or advanced skier interested in improving your all mountain skiing while learning about alpine racing, check out our Racer Development Program. We offer something for every level of racer and our experienced coaches are excited to help you expand and accelerate your all mountain skiing while learning about safety in the mountain environment.
Taught for women by women, our Women’s Program is designed for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders who identify with the women’s community. Each four week session is grouped by ability and sport. You’ll learn new skills and build confidence in your skiing or snowboarding in a supportive group environment.
Whether you want to cruise groomers or explore the entire mountain, Senior Thursdays coaching sessions are the perfect place to refine your skills and meet new friends to ski and snowboard with. Designed for intermediate and beyond skiers and snowboarders, each four week session is grouped by ability, so you'll be skiing and riding with people who have similar goals.
