From the Mt. Baker Volunteer Association:
Calling all Mt. Baker skiers, snowboarders & snow lovers alike! The Mt Baker Volunteer Association is holding a fund raiser. We are a completely volunteer organization that is composed of the Volunteer Ski Patrol, Aidroom Staff, Mountain Education Center volunteers, Event staff, and Mountain Hosts. You see us every day. We are mostly in the background until you need help or are competing in an event. Our volunteers are dedicated to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. We are also a 501C3 organization.
Great food, drinks, and lots of chances for adventure gear and other incredible raffle and silent auction items benefiting the Mt Baker Volunteer Association. Some of the silent auction items include a snowboard from LibTech, skis from K2, a custom surfboard from North Pacific Surfboards, and a bike frame from Evil Bikes. And tons of other prizes at the raffle.
All funds raised go towards training of our dedicated volunteer members.
