Artist for the 2022-23 season passes and website
As a Bellingham resident for over a decade, Veda loves spending time being active outdoors. Growing up in a family of artists who have a strong affinity for their home mountain, she has always felt supported in her creative endeavors and recreational pursuits. Creating art is a very grounding experience for her and is a form of meditation. Veda's art reflects a visual representation of how she feels about the world around her. Like most people that go to the mountain, skiing feels like a gift from Mother Nature that makes her feel free, and she is so thankful for it.

Aron Fredriksson

Growing up in Seattle snowboarder, tattoo artist and current Lib Tech board graphic designer Aron Fredriksson can be found tattooing by day and dreaming up winter related art by night. Between shred missions to the mountains and beach Aron finds his inspiration along the way. You may catch him on the slopes, in the water or at the skatepark at any given time.

She works mainly in watercolor, pen and ink, and acrylic paints, focusing on animal subjects. In early 2020, moved to Bellingham for the phenomenal mountain biking and snowboarding this area has to offer. Since moving to Bellingham, the amazing people and places here have greatly influenced her artwork and she is very grateful to have Mt. Baker Ski Area be a part of that.

Born and raised on the Olympic peninsula, Brandon fell in love with the mountains while blasting White Snake and Metallica into his brain and coming of age on the ski school bus. After 8 years of working for Ride Snowboards, he left to start his creative agency Mystery Made where he continued design work in and out of the outdoor industry focusing on branding, product development, print and illustration.

Evan Whitehead

Freelance artist Evan Whitehead, born in 1981, is native to Bellingham, Washington growing up in the foothills of Whatcom County and the North Cascade Range. Focusing on the natural presence of the mountain’s beauty and individualism, Evan is self-taught and defines his subject matter in a variety of ways, represented by the familiar expressive landscapes of Mt. Baker, and Mt. Shuksan, the surrounding Nooksack Valley foothills down to the scenic San Juan Islands.

Mark Fankhauser

Fank’s story is your typical romance novel. Boy grows up in NW. Boy meets pencil and paper. Then boy meets snow. Boy falls too much in love with both. He experiments with both. Boy chooses Bellingham for school because it’s close to Baker. Dreams of contributing in any small way to the history of this unicorn hill. Fate makes the chess pieces fall in place and boy never grows up.
