LIFT TICKETS & BENEFITS

Can I purchase lift tickets ahead of time?

Yes, you can purchase Gift Lift Tickets online, at our Bellingham Business office, or at the ski area admin offices during hours of operation. These gift cards are available in amounts equivalent to a daily lift ticket. Gift Lift Tickets must be redeemed for daily lift ticket upon arrival at the mountain in order to access the lifts.

General Mt. Baker Gift Cards are also available. Mt. Baker Gift Cards can be used in all departments on the mountain, excluding food service.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. You can purchase Gift Lift Tickets online, at our Bellingham Business office, or at the ski area admin offices during hours of operation. Mt. Baker Gift Cards can be used in all departments on the mountain, excluding food service.

Do you offer military discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for active duty and their dependents with a military ID. See Military Discount page for more info.

Do you offer group benefits?

Yes, for eligible groups. Groups must register with Mt. Baker Groups Coordinator and meet group size criteria in order to be eligible for group benefits. See Group Benefits page for details.

What are the elevations at the base areas?

The elevation at Heather Meadows Base Area is 4,300 ft.

The elevation at White Salmon Base Area is 3,500 ft.

How many lodges does the ski area have?

There are 3 lodges at Mt. Baker Ski Area.

White Salmon Day Lodge is located at mile marker 52.0 at the White Salmon Base Area.

The Raven Hut is located mid mountain at the bases of Chairs 5, 6, and 4.

Heather Meadows Day Lodge is located at mile market 55.0 at the Heather Meadows Base Area.

How many lifts does the ski area have?

There are 8 quad chairs at the ski area along with 2 handle tows.

How do I get to the Ski Area?

Mt. Baker Ski Area is located 52 miles east of Bellingham on State Highway 542. See Directions page for more info.

Is there lodging at the Ski Area?

No. Being located in the National Forest, lodging is not available at the Ski Area. The Mt. Baker foothills offer a variety of accommodation options. Visit our Accommodations page for lodging options and info.

Self-contained RVs and campers are permitted overnight in designated areas at the Ski Area. See Overnight Parking page for more info.

Is overnight parking allowed at the Ski Area?

Is there an ATM machine at Mt. Baker Ski Area?

No. The closest ATM is 30 minutes away at Graham’s Store in Glacier, on
the way to Mt Baker.

Can I go sledding or tubing at the Ski Area?

No. Sledding is prohibited with Mt. Baker Ski Area boundaries. Outside of the ski area boundaries is Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest land. Winter snow play in the National Forest is at your own risk. Always check weather and avalanche forecasts before heading out into National Forest land.

Do you have cross-country skiing?

No. There are no cross-country trails with Mt. Baker Ski Area boundaries. Outside of the ski area boundaries is Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest land. Winter snow play in the National Forest is at your own risk. Always check weather and avalanche forecasts before heading out into National Forest land.
