Adaptive Methods
TWO TRACK - for use by individuals with visual or hearing impairments, and others who can maintain good balance without outriggers.
THREE TRACK - for use by individuals who cannot effectively use one of their legs for skiing.
FOUR TRACK - for use by individuals who use two skis and outriggers to maintain balance.
SIT-DOWN - for use by individuals who use a walker or wheelchair. The equipment includes bi-ski and mono-ski.
EQUIPMENT NEEDS and fitting will be arranged before on-snow time.
Instructors
Mt. Baker Adaptive Instructors have current and specific training in adaptive techniques developed by DS/USA and the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
